Enteral Nutrition: Nutrients are delivered directly into the gastrointestinal tract through a feeding tube. This method supports patients with functional digestion who cannot consume food orally.

Parenteral Nutrition (TPN): Nutrients are administered intravenously, bypassing the digestive system entirely. This approach is used for patients with gastrointestinal impairment or those who require highly controlled nutritional intake.
